Beaches Turks & Caicos

An Inclusive Paradise

When it comes to family vacations, we always look for destinations that are fun, relaxing, and most importantly, inclusive for all. This time, our journey took us to the beautiful Beaches Resort in Turks & Caicos, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of magical. As a family of four—my husband Mike, our daughter Evan, our son Creed, and me, Rochelle Johnson (@iambeauticurve)—we embarked on this trip with high hopes, especially for Creed. We were invited to experience firsthand how the resort’s Autism Inclusion Program enhances the travel experience for families like ours. Spoiler alert: It exceeded every expectation.

Where We Stayed: The Key West Ocean View Butler Suite

We stayed in the Key West Ocean View 2-Story, 2-Bedroom Butler Suite, which comfortably sleeps up to ten people—perfect for a large family or multi-generational travel. While it felt homey, it still had that luxury vacation feel, with stunning ocean views and impeccable service. Having the butler service was a game-changer! Our Butlers Sasha and Junior were amazing. They provided 5 star service the entire week. They were so caring and accommodating. From making dining reservations to ensuring our room was always stocked with our favorite snacks, and taking Evan to Kids club. the service was next level.

What We Did: A Perfect Mix of Fun & Relaxation

There was no shortage of activities for our family at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Whether it was land or sea, we had something exciting to do every day!

For the Kids: Special Needs Support & Fun Galore

  • Beaches Buddy: One of the highlights for Creed was having a Beaches Buddy. —a trained specialist who accompanied him throughout the resort, ensuring his safety while also making sure he had fun. As a parent of a child with special needs, this was a huge relief. We could enjoy our time knowing he was in great hands. Our Beaches Buddy JodieAnn was so incredibly kind and patient with Creed.

  • Camp Sesame: Evan had the best time at Camp Sesame, where she got to play and engage in fun activities with other kids.

  • Water Park & Beach Adventures: The kids couldn’t get enough of the Pirates Island Water Park—slides, lazy rivers, and splash zones kept them entertained for hours.

  • Sesame Street Sunrise Yoga: Evan and I had the most adventorius morning session with Elmo and friends, setting the perfect tone for the day.

  • Character Tuck-in - One of my favorite moments was the character tuck-in. You can select a Sesame Street Character to tuck in the kiddos for bed. They are read a story and given a toy at the end. This was one of the sweetest moments. mDefinitely Core memory unlocked.

For the Parents: A Much-Needed Break

  • Private Dinners: Thanks to the amazing child services, Mike and I were able to sneak away for romantic dinner on the beach it was a dream. We took advantage of the many adult only restaurants on the resort. (Like the parents on vacation that we are, no kids allowed!!)

  • Spa Time: I took full advantage of the spa services—a much-needed treat! It’s a no frills spa but they in fact did what needed to be done. Me and Mike agreed those were the best massages we have ever had!

What We Ate: All-Inclusive Dining at Its Finest

With 21 restaurants on-site, there was something to satisfy every craving. Some of our favorite dining experiences included:

  • Breakfast at Schooner’s: Nothing beats starting the day with fresh fruit and omelets by the ocean.

  • Lunch at The Jerk Truck: Authentic, flavorful Caribbean jerk chicken that we devoured every day for lunch

  • Dinner at Kimonos: A lively hibachi experience that kept both the kids and adults entertained.

  • Breakfast at Sky: We love bacon with a side of a beautiful ocean view in the mornings.

  • Our Family Fav Neptune’s: This was literally the whole families fav, it was on the beach so the kids were happy & the breakfast is delicious.

  • Sweet Treats: Ice cream, smoothies, and tropical drinks were on rotation all day long!

What We Wore: Matching Vacation Vibes

If you know us, you know we love a matching family moment! Evan and I coordinated in Show Me Your Mumumatching sets, while the boys kept it cool and casual. Our swimwear game was strong, and we made sure every outfit was both stylish and comfy for our island adventures.

Would We Go Again? Absolutely!

Our trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos was everything we hoped for and more. The resort’s Autism Inclusion Program made a world of difference, allowing us to actually relax and enjoy our vacation while ensuring that Creed was cared for in a safe, supportive environment.

Whether you have a child with special needs or simply want a family-friendly, luxury all-inclusive experience, Beaches Turks & Caicos is a must-visit. From the stunning accommodations to the world-class dining and incredible activities, it’s truly a paradise for everyone.
