Catherine's Travels to Little Rock & Five Things No One Expects When they Come

I was elated when I found out the Catherine's wanted to come to Little Rock to spend a few days with me and my family. Catherine's is one of the fashion and fit authorities for sizes 16W-34W and 0X-5X. I love the team at Catherine's, they're like familia now so the whole experience was a joy! Now I'm originally from LA but have lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for more than 8 years. The team all from NYC were in for a treat! None of the 3 ladies had ever been close to Arkansas so other than knowing that it is Walmart's headquarters, the Clintons home and  scene of HBO's Gangbanging in Little Rock they didn't know what to expect.Here's 5 Things you might not know about Little Rock:

• We have an amazing 140 yr old 5-star Hotel: The Capital Hotel. The team loved it!
• We have the largest pedestrian bridge in the country. It's not called the Big Dam Bridge for no reason.
• We are really close to Memphis! Only a 2 hour drive to downtown Memphis, TN.
• We we named by Forbes as the second cleanest city in America in 2011. The Catherine's team was amazed at how nice and clean everything is.
• We have the only brick-and-mortar purse museum in the country.

A little sparkle action for dinner with my main! We dined at the Capital Hotel which is amazing. This dress was perfect for the occasion.  Love the material and the color is unexpected yet so chic.

Love these pieces for an early fall work out. The sleeves give a little coverage in cooler temps. The neutral color block is chic and on trend.

After Tacos we eat popsicles at out favorite local popsicle shop LePops. This striped maxi dress is perfect for chasing Creed around the city. It's super comfortable and  very versatile. Pair it with a denim jacket for an added layer.

Probs my favorite piece from the visit. This jacket can be worn as a dress and is super versatile with the perfect color and texture for fall! I paired with a basic top and comfy jeans.

Doesn't get any better than a cozy vest in this deep color. All I needed was a pumpkin spice latte! Super easy to throw over any basic outfit, turning it instantly fall chic.

Some times to most simple look can be the most stunning. I love how this top and skirt work together. The ruching is thoughtful and done so well! I love that I could be super sexy and super comfy (minus the heels) at the same time!
