How to Create A Seamless Transition to Spring

Pre-spring -- it’s the season between seasons. One day it's warm, and the next, you’re freezing your buns off again. Of course you don’t want to store all your winter pieces just yet and you don't really need to pull out the short shorts either... so annoying! Well there is a way to make this in between thing work. Just focus on simple layering elements and your basics.AccessorizeLayering is your best friend during this transition. Add light weight vests, scarfs, or jackets in colors that are complimentary to any season (olive green, pink, nudes) to either bundle up on a random chilly day or to just look like your'e ready for spring. I love this Catherines olive vest, not only the color but also the breezy feel of it. It will easily work right now or later as we jump into spring.Keep Your SleevesAlthough the first step outside may tempt you to put on the top with no sleeves, you may regret this decision later. Long sleeve shirts are so necessary right now and even as we move closer and closer to spring. I love to have them on hand in all the basic colors so I can layer them under a vest when there is a slight chill in the air. This tee from Catherines is great for this time of the year.  It's the right weight for this transition period and I love the length of it.Let Your Toes OutThese suede sandals with the chunky heel are my go to for every season. You can still add tights, like if there's snow on the ground (lol). Pair them with a range of outfits for a seamless seasonal transition.Don’t get lost in this in-between season. Be creative and consider using these wardrobe elements. All these pieces will serve to make between-season dressing a breeze.
