New Flooring Reveal with Lumber Liquidators

I'm like super duper excited to share with you guys our new flooring!!! We have been working on our house room by room since we bought it in 2016. I’ve become quite home decor/remodel obsessed to be totally honest.Beside painting the interior and exterior of our home we knew before we even moved in that our floors would have to be replaced. The flooring in our home was all over the place. We literally had 3 different styles in one room. There was bamboo (the thickest bamboo ever) also concrete in a rusting red and a beige tile to go with it all. For some reason a LOT of people really liked it. Mike and I hated it with a passion and felt like it didn't go with our design style at all! It also really broke up the flow of the house, playing tricks on our eyes. The other thing is that the wood flooring was so much higher. That's why is said it was the thickest.

BEFORE

We started shopping around and went to most of the flooring specialist in our area. We ended up being able to work with our friends at Lumber Liquidators on this project and we could not be happier with the results! They made the process so easy. We tossed ideas back-and-forth about what sort of flooring we thought we would like really had no insight on types and what would meet our families needs the most. The great part about them is that they have a ton of options and great customer service to go along with it. The guys and gals at Lumber Liquidators were beyond competent and were so kind to give my like a million samples and take my calls on drop-ins like champs! We decided on a dark floor (Burnt Umber Bamboo) with a little texture and variation, maily because our whole house is white and the contrast is amaze. Also the variation in tones makes it appear more interesting and aged a bit. The texture is faint but it does well at hiding imperfections and little dings and such.We honestly can’t say enough good things about these floors and Lumber Liquidators!P.S.  We had our flooring installed by a contractor outside Lumber Liquidators. You do not have to use their contractors. You may choose your own or install yourself also.*Disclosure: Lumber Liquidators generously gave us flooring in exchange for posting about their products. They did not choose my floor or instruct me on what to say. I trust you all know by now that we wouldn’t post about or recommend anything I don't love.
