CAPE TOWN
The cape/blanket trend is a trend that I instantly loved. However, I’ve discovered that trend is a grower for most. But I’m like, what’s not to love?! They are a maj style statement and are super versatile! A cape can be worn in so many ways and can create a completely different look to an otherwise simple oufit — not to mention it’s a trend that is actually functional. Who doesn’t want to wear their comforter out in the elements? Anyway, layering is my favorite thing about winter; so it’s no wonder I jumped at the chance to wear this gorge cape from Coach (yes they make clothes).I paired the cape with a simple black Jones New York wool dress that I found last year at a Goodwill and my trusty and somewhat trashy Guess over the knee boots ;)This particular cape is probably going to be hard to find so I have included some variations in the link below for your viewing/shopping pleasure.Side Note:
- Ponchos – are overcoats with a hole for your head.
- Blanket Shawls – look just like blankets.
- Capes – are the same as the ponchos except they have holes for your arms too.
