I tried lululemon (for the first time) and this is what Happened...

You may not believe this, but after 30 something years, I have finally tried on lululemon and I was finally able to answer two burning questions I had about the brand. One, will it fit? Two, Is it as good as everyone says. Well, I finally get what the craze is all about. I’ve heard my friends and trainer who are super fans of the brand rave about it.  And the answer to my questions were yes and yes! So because I am a lover of trying things and because I heard that the offered up to size 14 in recent years, I thought I would give the brand a test run. FYI: there are sports bras, jackets, dresses and more in sizes 12-14. You’ll also notice that size 12-14 items will become out of stock (OOS) quickly.[showshopthepostwidget id="3763194"]Like I said, believe the hype. lululemon is an athleisure dream. I love the quality and smart design the most.  I'm really into brands that are consistent and tried and true -- you know you are getting quality pieces that are stylish and functional.Since it’s technically fall (but feels like winter), I wanted to try out some of their coats and jackets! When I scrolled their site, I was having a hard time deciding between the cloudscape puffer style  and the one I'm wearing. I decided on the Roam Far Wool Jacket   because it so versatile and could be dressed up or down imo. I really want to pair this jacket with a pair of combat boots and I think that speaks to the versatility of the coat. It has the style of your traditional wool coat (just lighter) but Is also water repellent so its great in various weather conditions.  Their leggings are pretty iconic so I definitely wanted to try them. I was a little worried that the 14 (largest size) in the leggings  specifically would not fit. I asked my trainer about the fit and was a little worried when she said they were true to size and another friend said they ran small.  To my surprise they fit my size 18/20 body pretty well and quite comfortably and without see-thru too! I did opt for one of the best selling styles, the Wunder Under High Rise Leggings. When shopping for pants/leggings in a straight size store, I typical reach for the high rise fit.I opted to try a longline sports bra that I could wear as a top. Honestly I don’t always want a big shirt hanging on me. Sometimes I prefer just a sports bra and It looks super cute. This is the size 12 and it was very supportive but I definitely could have used a larger size.I recommend heading over to lululemon and using their filter feature to search for items currently available in your size, or a size close to your size.  If you have a store in your area (which I'm sure you do) don’t be afraid to go in and try some things on.  You’ll never know unless you try. I’m glad I did! [showshopthepostwidget id="3763194"]
