SO EL AYYY!
Decided it was the perfect time to wear a little Tartan/Plaid being that today officially marks the first day of fall. With fall comes tartan, in my book. Love how these prints go with everything from leather, to denim, to plaid on plaid, to leopard, stripes and so on.
Anyway, this super cute crop set and graphic tee are from LIVING DOLL LA
. When Living Doll LA reached out to me I was quick to check them out. I’m always super excited to discover new companies that offer plus sizes! Not to mention I am a real life “LA Doll” born and raised in Bellflower, Californ-i-a (West Siiddeee). The line makes straight and plus sizes with a junior cut to them. The pieces I received feel quality and fit well. Also the majority of what Living Doll LA sells is made in the USA. Totes worth checking them out and furthermore they gave me a coupon code just my peeps. Use "bcurve10"

Leather is clearly still having a serious moment right now. So it’s no wonder that when Eloquii dropped these hybrid denim and faux leather skinnies I just couldn’t pass on em. I love how edgy and chic they look on. Now that the weather is cooling off, I’m ready to break out the darker hues and heavier materials. Fall is the perfect time to pair jeans with an oversize sweater/sweatshirt or whatever really.

MAKE IT A COMBO, PLEASE!!
Wearing a matching crop top and skirt set makes for a pretty big style statement. Not to mention you could get endless outfits out of one set when you pair with other pieces in your wardrobe. Talk about bang for your buck! Love this crop top with matching fit-and-flare circle skirt set! It was a chance meeting at my local JCPenney on a lazy Friday night. Love when that happens.

I know I’m not the only one who uses the arrival of a new season as an excuse to revamp my wardrobe – right? I put together a little wishlist with a little bit of everything. From super casual to a night on the town, mixing together colors and textures, every possible outfit is covered. Some of these will lend themselves to a wider variety of outfits, but I’ll tell you the best part – they’re all perfect with a pair of jeans.

Was so excited to find this asymmetric faux leather zip skirt. It is the perfect way to update your normal pencil skirt and serves as a great transitional piece as we creep up on fall. You can wear with crop tops, sweatshirts, tees and so on. Perfect for nights out or just every day wear.

YOU BETTA SHOP AROUND
Budget clothes can still be chic! Most of you don’t need me to tell you that. I am a self-proclaimed High-Low Girl til the end! I literally shop around — from the most ratchet strip mall to Bergdorf’s. It’s all about mixing it up and being creative. Instead of only shopping stores with fast-fashion quality you can also shop for brands with better quality so you can mix them together.
I’m so in love with this Forever 21 Moto Jacket (similar below)! The $20 price tag made me love it even more. I paired the jacket with this ultra-versatile Forever 21 Stripe Dress that was a whopping $17 (actual below). Both pieces can be worn a thousand different ways.
I paired my low-end Forever 21 pieces with a classic pair Ray-Ban Wayfarer Shades (actual below). Instantly adding a dash of bad to any outfit. They retail for around $150 and are a great item to splurge on. My mixed Leopard Clutch is 10 Crosby by Derek Lam (similar below). Retailed for $400 but snagged at TJ Maxx for under $200. My new go-to Booties are from Lane Bryant’s new genuine leather line — in stores now for $169 (actual below).

AND THEN THERE WAS: PART II
ELOQUII//NYC & ME
So by now many of you about the time I spent with the ELOQUII team in NYC. While I was there I was able to preview their pre-fall collection “Green Envy”. I spent 1/2 the day as myself - “The Blogger”, and the other half as a “Stylist”.
ELOQUII Creative Director, Jodi gave me the task of us of using pieces from the Green Envy Collection to create 3 sets of looks to take a girl from 85 degree weather to 55 degree weather.
I’m so used to styling myself. It’s a whole other task to style someone else. Luckily, I had another set of eyes on set, my new friend – Stylist, Ashley Falcon. Not to mention the model was kinda hot ;) – Ms. Bree Warren.
We had a blast hitting the streets of NYC. Hope you like how I styled the looks.
ELOQUII//NYC & ME
So I have been holding this in for some time now — I’m sure some of you who follow my IG feed were wondering about my brief stint in NYC?! So, here’s the scoop!
I had the amazing pleasure of visiting the world of ELOQUII! It’s safe to assume that my mind was completely blown when I came on set to style my favorite looks from ELOQUII’s pre-fall collection. When I walked in the studio and laid my eyes on the rack of clothes my hands almost immediately starting touching everything! Gasp! Really, I mean really cute, chic, edgy, and on-trend pieces!
It was so exciting to go through the creative process of being a stylist for a day, and I couldn’t have imagined a better collection to style. Jodi Arnold (the creative director) and the team have done an incredible job of delivering great fashion exclusively for us plus size ladies! It was such an exciting and fun day and therefore I wanted to share it with you all! I am OB-SESSED with how everything turned out!! Stay tuned for more on this trip…

BABE ALERT !!
Who doesn’t want to feel like Kelly Kapowski every now and again?!
The off-the-shoulder trend is back baby! The massive resurgence of off-the-shoulder styles this summer has left me feeling like bearing my clavicles everyday. The look is bohemian-chic, effortless and over the top girly.
Yes, fall is approaching but the heat don’t lie, we’ve still got a ways to go. So let your shoulders breathe a bit while participating in one of this summer’s hottest looks!

THE PERFECT SUMMER PANT
If you haven’t heard yet, Wet Seal is undergoing an overall restructuring to focus on plus-size market! This restructuring involves them converting 31 ArdenB locations to Wet Seal+ locations! Thankfully, retailers like Wet Seal, realize shopaholics like myself, are demanding more plus options. Needless to say, I am very excited about their expanded offerings and wanted share some new pieces— now available online and in their new stores all over the country!
About the pants — I couldn’t really resist this floral print palazzo pant! They’re feminine, comfy and really make your legs look long and luxurious. Pant comes in two colors and feature a gauze woven material, elasticized waist band, and a fun wide leg. I would size down when ordering the pants. I ordered a 3x (that’s what I usually wear in junior styles) but they are a little big. The 2x would fit me perfectly.
I styled these pants several different ways. I couldn’t decide which look I liked best, so I decided to share all three! Head over to WetSeal.com
to view tons more from their expanded plus collection!
