I’ll confess, I don’t even like cats. However, this fall’s feline fashion affinity continues to influence my wardrobe and the fashion world in general. I don’t think I’ll ever be tired of clothes with large prints of cute animals faces.
This lovely dress was sent to me from the sweet ladies at plus-size online boutique: www.LUXEVAIN.com
They have a have a great selection of really cute, on-trend plus-size fashion at great prices!
Clearly animal motifs are huge this fall. Go feed you fashion animal!

Animal prints are huge this season! I have always had a “thing” for animal prints. If you follow my blog I’m sure you have picked up on this by now.
I love this jacket from the Sophia Vergara collection at Kmart! Endless possibilities! You certainly can dress it up or dress it down. It also comes in a muted leopard print. Both are fab and probably won’t last long.
I understand for some, primal prints can be a little intimidating or viewed as tacky but take courage and channel your inner wild side… you never know you might just like it!

WHY, HELLO THERE FALL!!
Something about the beginning of fall just makes you want to obsess about clothes and shopping! I’m very excited about bringing you inspiring fall style and thought I’d start with what else than a faux leather accordion-pleated skirt. By now, most of us have come to find out: “Leather is the new denim”! I’ve been spotting: deep reds, tans, chocolates and the blackest black varieties. Leather has taken over and it’s set to be big throughout Autumn and Winter. So start scouring vintage/thrift havens and malls alike for something leather/faux leather to call your own!
The skirt I’m wearing is by BCBG; purchased at a BCBG outlet in March. I rarely shop BCBG for my clothes, mainly because most of their clothes aren’t made to fit girls like me. However, I noticed this fabulous skirt while browsing the shoes. I slipped it on in the middle of the store and the rest is history.
Let’s “fall” in love…xoxo

The pandemonium continues as Target’s collaboration with luxury designer 3.1 Phillip Lim has been out for a little over a week at the time of this post. Somehow I managed to snag this little knit animal print dress from the collection without having to cut anyone!
Other than the fact that it’s really cute, I wanted to blog about this dress because I thought it is something in the collection that works great for a plus size girl.
It’s possible you could happen upon this dress at a store. I was astonished to find it still in stock online. If you missed other pieces from the collection, don’t worry yet; I have a feeling a lot will be returned. You know how people buy stuff just because someone else touched it. The key is frequent drop-ins at your local Target/s. It’s always the drop-ins.

STREET STYLE: 2 Ways to Wear Jogger Pants
The Jogger Pant is clearly one of the biggest emerging trends of 2013. I love the look and have been inspired to try myself. I will say it’s real easy to put on a pair and look ready to cozy up on the couch with a pint of cookies n cream :) I hope this post shows you how not to create this effect.
The joggers I’m wearing are from H&M (Plus). I purchased these on my recent visit home to Cali. You know stock is unpredictable from store to store and I have not seen these online. I have included another option if you can’t get your hands on these.

LEGGGSS HONEY!! (3 Ways to Wear DISTRESSED DENIM SHORTS)
Let’s face it, it’s just too hot to wear anything else! No really, I love my new distressed denim shorts from F21! I’m so happy that in 2013 plus sizers understand we can participate in whatever summer trend we want. Summer is not just for size zero! Besides, if anybody needs every inch of their body to breathe in this heat, it would be us! Of course I am an advocate for always keeping it classy, whatever size you are. I felt these are appropriate and show just the right amount of leg for those weekend occasions when dress-code permits.
These shorts look WAY shorter on the model. I’m 5’8, so she must be at least 6 feet tall.- Distressed Denim Shorts
I got my sweater at Marshalls, but this is another option. - Sweater
Striped top is from Anthropologie. - Peplum
This is a similar blazer. - Blazer

THE “IT” SKIRT
I recently uploaded this fab black maxi skirt and a coral one just like it on my Instagram (rojo032009). Instafam went a little bananas and it seemed like everyone wanted deets all at once. So here we are… follow the link and allow plenty of time for shipping as the skirt will come from a far far land.

Bag- Tory Burch
DISCLAIMER: Skirt does come with a lining which does not have any stretch in it. I had to cut it due to my larger hips and backside :) You just might need to buy a slip to go under it if you decide to cut it. Also skirt is super long so shorties beware or get a pair of stripper heels!
